Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s summer hit, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” has broken records by grossing more than N400 million in Nigeria.
According to the Nigerian Box Office website on X, the film has gathered over 88,000 moviegoers since its premiere. Admissions refer to the total number of tickets sold for cinema screenings.
“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” has crossed the N400 million barrier with over 88K admissions. It is the only non-December film to reach that milestone since ‘The Woman King’ (October 2022) and ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ (November 2022),” according to the newspaper.

According to Nigerian box office data, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” opened on June 7, 2024, and has since been the highest-grossing Hollywood film in Nigeria. In its first 11 days, the Hollywood action-comedy grossed ₦167 million, according to Film One Entertainment.
During its premiere weekend (June 7-9, 2024), “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” grossed N68.94 million, making it the most-watched film in Nigerian cinemas during that time. By the end of its first week, it had topped N100 million, rising to over N104 million in six days.
“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is the fourth entry in the popular buddy cop franchise, directed by Adil and Bilall and written by Chris Bremner and Will Beall. The film follows the exploits of Miami cops Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence).
“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” has grossed $184.8 million domestically and $193.1 million abroad, for a total of $377.9 million globally to date. The film’s production budget was $100 million, excluding prints and advertising.
