Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N990 to N970 per litre, effective immediately. The price cut, aimed at easing the financial burden on Nigerians, is being implemented as a gesture of appreciation to the country’s citizens for their continued support.
In a press statement, Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, explained that the price adjustment comes as the year draws to a close, marking a significant milestone in the refinery’s operations. He also expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government for its backing, which has been instrumental in the realization of the refinery.
The statement emphasized that Dangote Refinery remains committed to delivering high-quality, environmentally sustainable products. The company assured that production will continue to increase, ensuring there is no risk of fuel shortages in the country.
