The Lagos State Government has launched MyLagos App, a digital platform designed to simplify city navigation and improve the urban experience.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat at the launch event in Ikoyi, described the app as a major step toward making Lagos a leading smart city in Africa. Developed in partnership with MTN Nigeria and other stakeholders, MyLagos App offers real-time traffic updates, emergency services, utility payments, business listings, and tourism information.
“Technology is no longer a luxury but a necessity. With MyLagos App, we are enhancing governance, improving service delivery, and simplifying life for residents,” Sanwo-Olu stated.
MTN Digital Channel Manager, Abdulhakeem Giwa, called the app revolutionary. He said it will improve navigation, connect residents with key city services, and provide real-time information on traffic, markets, events, and job opportunities.
Sanwo-Olu urged Lagosians to embrace the digital era by downloading and using MyLagos App. He emphasized that innovation is a continuous journey in shaping the future of the city.
