Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty by a federal jury on two serious charges linked to prostitution — and the details are as wild as they sound.
The 55-year-old rapper and businessman was acquitted of the most serious counts of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. But jurors did convict him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — crimes that carry a maximum sentence of 10 years each.
Throughout the high-profile trial, jurors heard disturbing accounts of what insiders reportedly called “Freak Offs” — wild, sex-fueled parties where women were allegedly pressured or coerced into sexual acts with other men, sometimes against their will. Testimonies came from multiple women, including Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and an anonymous accuser referred to as “Jane.”
Prosecutors argued that Diddy used his wealth, fame, and influence to manipulate and exploit vulnerable women, flying them across state lines for sex and rewarding or punishing them depending on their obedience.
While he dodged the heavier racketeering and sex trafficking charges, the guilty verdicts still land a powerful blow to his reputation and freedom. Diddy now faces up to 20 years behind bars, though legal experts say the final sentence may be far less.
He is currently in federal custody and awaiting sentencing. His legal team has filed for bail, but the judge has yet to decide.
