Forbes has officially confirmed that Beyoncé is now a billionaire, joining an elite circle of music legends who have crossed the $1 billion net worth mark.
According to the financial publication, the global superstar’s long climb to billionaire status didn’t happen by accident. Instead, it was built on smashing concert tours, smart business moves, and owning her creative output.
At the heart of that climb was Beyoncé’s record-breaking Cowboy Carter Tour, the highest-grossing country tour of 2025. The tour reportedly grossed more than $400 million in tickets and another $50 million in merch, drawing millions of fans around the world.
That success came on the heels of her hugely popular 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which grossed nearly $600 million and helped cement her reputation as one of the biggest live performers on Earth.
But touring wasn’t the only money-maker. Beyoncé’s business empire, run through her company Parkwood Entertainment, also played a major role. By controlling her music catalog, producing her own shows and films, and launching brands like haircare label Cécred and whiskey brand Sir Davis, she kept a larger share of her earnings instead of relying on outside managers.
Forbes estimates that in 2025 alone she earned around $148 million before taxes, putting her among the world’s highest-paid musicians for the year.
With this achievement, Beyoncé joins other billionaire artists like her husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen, but her story stands out because she built much of her wealth through creative control and strategic reinvention.
From Destiny’s Child beginnings to billionaire powerhouse, Queen B’s journey shows that talent, paired with business savvy, can be a billion-dollar combination.
