Google Maps has unveiled Nigeria’s most reviewed restaurants, cafés, visitor attractions, parks, and museums. This reflects the places Nigerians frequently search for. According to Google, these lists offer insights into the country’s top-rated destinations. This also showcases where people go to relax, dine, and explore.
Over the past 20 years, Google Maps has mapped over 250 million businesses and locations while providing directions covering more than 1 trillion kilometers. The platform has become an essential tool for over two billion users each month, with approximately 500 million people contributing insights and updates yearly.
In Nigeria’s major cities like Lagos and Abuja, where traffic congestion is a daily challenge, Google Maps helps commuters find alternative routes and estimate travel times. This helps in saving time and reducing stress.
Among the most reviewed restaurants, Mega Chicken, Farmcity Lekki Lounge, and Crush Café lead the list. In the café category, Flowershop Café and Oliver’s Café stand out. Popular visitor attractions include Dimplediva_scent and Oniru Private Beach, while City Park Abuja and Muri Okunola Park top the list of reviewed parks. The National Museum Benin City and Kalakuta Museum rank as the most reviewed museums in Nigeria.
