Infinity Health Africa has partnered with IntraHub Africa to streamline regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical companies across Africa. The two firms are combining forces to digitize pharmacovigilance and improve how drugmakers meet global safety standards.
The partnership merges Infinity Health’s digital regulatory systems with IntraHub’s pharmacovigilance technology. The goal: make compliance faster, easier, and more reliable.
At the core is Infinity’s ONBOARD platform, which handles product registration, licensing, and post-market surveillance. IntraHub brings its IntraVigi™ system, designed to help drugmakers and healthcare providers monitor adverse drug reactions and maintain safety reports that meet international benchmarks.
“The lack of quality documentation is a key compliance bottleneck in Africa’s regulatory landscape,” said Irene Nwaukwa, CEO of Infinity Health. “This partnership will provide hands-on support for registration, documentation, and patient safety.”
Africa’s pharmaceutical sector is expected to hit $70 billion by 2030. But regulatory fragmentation, poor digital tools, and weak pharmacovigilance systems continue to hold it back. Countries like Nigeria and Kenya are already tightening rules, forcing companies to step up their compliance efforts.
With over 200 regulatory submissions under their belt, both companies bring deep expertise. Their joint offering promises end-to-end solutions—from safety tracking to documentation and readiness for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.
“Through this partnership, we are bringing together expertise, technology, and a shared vision to help companies thrive, compete globally, and keep patients safe,” said Pharm. Abubakar Mukhtar, CEO of IntraHub Africa.
