Shortly before his season finale, Season 8 winner Victory Gbakara dazzled the audience with an original song he wrote. The moment that had been anticipated by all came: Chima was declared the victor. Chima, who is well-known for his captivating stage presence and remarkable vocal abilities, never failed to astound judges 9ice, Omawumi, and Ric Hassani during the competition.
Judge Omawumi noted at the program’s conclusion that Chima appeared to be competing with himself, which is evidence of his remarkable development and potential off the show.
