President-elect Donald Trump has announced a controversial plan to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America,” calling it a “beautiful” and “appropriate” change that aligns with his vision of American identity. The proposal was unveiled during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, where Trump also addressed pressing international concerns.
During the same event, Trump issued a stern ultimatum to Hamas, demanding the immediate release of hostages held in Gaza. “All hell will break out in the Middle East” if the hostages are not freed before his January 20 inauguration, Trump warned. “It will not be good for Hamas, and frankly, it will not be good for anyone,” he emphasized.
These statements reflect Trump’s aggressive stance on both domestic and foreign policies, signaling significant changes ahead as he prepares to take office.
