Lagos State recorded another milestone in its industrial expansion today with the official launch of the TY Logistics Park FZE in Alaro City. The facility is being positioned as a transformative project for the logistics landscape in Lagos and a key driver in consolidating the state’s status as Nigeria’s leading industrial hub.
The initiative was celebrated as a testament to the vision of General T.Y. Danjuma (Rtd.) and Senator Daisy Danjuma, whose investment vehicle, TY Holdings, continues to champion large-scale, responsible investments in Lagos’ evolving economy. State officials commended the Danjumas for demonstrating strong confidence in the region’s long-term growth trajectory.
Strategically located within one of the country’s fastest-growing economic corridors, the logistics park sits in proximity to major national assets: the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Dangote Refinery, emerging manufacturing zones, and the forthcoming Lekki-Epe International Airport. According to government representatives, the grade-A logistics facility is expected to significantly reduce operational costs for businesses, enhance export efficiency, and generate meaningful employment opportunities.

The Lagos State Government also acknowledged the Federal Government’s ongoing support for the 7th Axial Road project, a critical infrastructure link designed to strengthen the supply chain from port to inland destinations.
Officials emphasized that the development aligns with the administration’s THEMES+ agenda, which prioritizes modern infrastructure, improved mobility, and a more competitive investment climate. With rapid growth in industrial activity, Alaro City is increasingly being regarded as a preferred destination for investors seeking stability, connectivity, and long-term value.
State authorities reaffirmed their commitment to creating an enabling environment for business, noting that in Lagos, “today is always the next best day to invest.”
