The Apple iPhone 16e has been officially launched, joining the iPhone 16 lineup as the most affordable model of 2025. Designed to offer impressive capabilities at a more accessible price, the iPhone 16e is powered by the A18 chip for fast performance and includes Apple Intelligence features.

The iPhone 16e will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options, starting at $599. Pre-orders begin on February 21, with availability starting February 28. It will be offered in black and white finishes with a variety of colorful cases. The iPhone 16e Silicone Case will be available in five colors for $39: winter blue, fuchsia, lake green, black, and white.

The iPhone 16e sports a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR Display with a Ceramic Shield front cover and tough back glass. Apple claims that the Ceramic Shield is tougher than any other smartphone glass.
Powered by Apple’s latest-generation A18 chip, the 6-core CPU is up to 80% faster than the A13 Bionic chip on the iPhone 11. The phone features a 4-core GPU for handling graphics-heavy tasks. It also includes C1, Apple’s first modem, designed for fast and efficient 5G connectivity, contributing to extraordinary battery life.
The iPhone 16e boasts a 48MP Fusion camera with a 2x Telephoto lens for optical zoom. It can record in 4K with Dolby Vision up to 60 fps and supports Spatial Audio for immersive listening with AirPods, Apple Vision Pro, or a surround sound system.
Additionally, the iPhone 16e includes Apple’s satellite features, enabling Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My functionality even without cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
It will also have the Apple Intelligence feature. Siri has also been enhanced with improved conversation capabilities and integration with ChatGPT, allowing users to access AI-driven expertise seamlessly.
The iPhone 16e includes IP68 water and dust resistance, Face ID, an Action Button for quick access to features, and multiple charging options, including wireless and USB-C wired charging. It runs on iOS 18 and will support new language updates, allowing users to set their primary iPhone language to Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, or Urdu starting in April.
