Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has entered an exclusive partnership with Premier Product Marketing LLC, a subsidiary of international petrochemicals firm Vinmar Group, to distribute Dangote Polypropylene™ across global markets outside Nigeria and the African continent.
The announcement follows the commencement of polypropylene production at the Dangote Group’s state-of-the-art refinery and petrochemical complex in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. The new facility, which represents a $2 billion investment, is equipped with advanced INNOVENE technology licensed by INEOS and is capable of producing 77 grades of polypropylene. With a production capacity of 900,000 metric tonnes annually and a projected turnover of \$1.2 billion, the plant is positioned to serve a wide range of industries including packaging, automotive, textiles, and construction.
“This partnership with Vinmar marks a significant step in our mission to take Dangote products to the global stage,” said Hajiya Fatima Aliko Dangote, Group Executive Director (Commercial) of Dangote Group. “Dangote Polypropylene will become a global brand synonymous with quality and reliability, building on our tradition of excellence.”
Vinmar Group CEO Vishal Goradia expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, citing a long-standing relationship with Dangote in Nigeria. “We are proud to expand our collaboration through this significant agreement,” he said. “Vinmar is honoured to support the global launch of Dangote Polypropylene™, bringing African innovation to the world.”

The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance the global footprint of Dangote’s petrochemical offerings, reinforcing Nigeria’s emerging role as a major player in the international chemicals and plastics market.
