The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has launched a newly redesigned website to improve access to road safety services and information.
The goal is faster, more secure, and user-friendly digital service.
“This newly redesigned website reflects our mission to save lives, enhance road safety awareness, and deliver world-class public service,” said Corps Marshal Malam Shehu Mohammed.
Announced on Monday in Abuja, the update was confirmed in a statement by Olusegun Ogungbemide, FRSC’s Public Education Officer.
He described the redesign as a major move to keep up with digital trends and improve user experience.
“With its sleek interface and modern design, the website now offers faster load times, improved security, and seamless access to credible and timely information,” Ogungbemide said.
The updated platform is accessible via www.frsc.gov.ng.
It serves as a one-stop digital hub for road safety services, public engagement, and traffic regulation tools.
Information is now better organized for ease of use.
The layout is designed to educate, engage, and even entertain, according to Mohammed.
He urged individuals, companies, NGOs, and civil society groups to explore the website.
It targets motorists, pedestrians, researchers, and media professionals.
The redesign follows a high-profile achievement in 2023.
FRSC’s website was ranked best among 315 MDAs in Nigeria by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, in collaboration with NITDA.
FRSC has recently intensified digital modernization.
In February 2025, it opened a mini driver’s licence printing farm in Lagos to address a backlog of over 270,000 pending licences.
The facility can print up to 9,000 licences in six hours.
Between January and February 2025, 7,798 people were arrested nationwide for using fake number plates.
The crackdown is part of a larger push to reduce fraud and protect national security.
With this website upgrade, FRSC is aiming for more than a digital facelift—it’s about speed, trust, and modern service delivery.
