Actress and singer Halle Bailey has filed a lawsuit against rapper DDG, her ex-boyfriend, claiming that there was a pattern of violence both during and after their relationship. Fans worldwide have been stunned by Bailey’s latest court filing in which she accused DDG of verbal, physical, emotional, and even financial abuse.
Bailey claims that although the relationship ended in October 2024, the problems continued, according to court filings. She alleges that DDG repeatedly abused her, notably in January 2025, when he allegedly left her with bruises and a chipped tooth. She also claims that he smashed her security camera, broke into her house, and then sent her threatening messages.
In yet another alarming incident, Bailey recounted a Mother’s Day weekend in which DDG allegedly accused her of cheating, despite the fact that she was with her sister and infant. According to the singer, she has also experienced online harassment, with DDG exploiting his position to disseminate untrue statements and incite followers to harass her on social media.
Consequently, she was given a temporary restraining order by a Los Angeles judge, and a hearing is scheduled for June 4. In addition, Bailey has asked for sole custody of their December 2023-born son, Halo, both legally and physically. She wants DDG to finish a 52-week intervention program and is requesting that the court exclude him from unsupervised visits.
DDG has yet to officially address the accusations.
