Two bald guys were confirmed dead by police recently, which sparked new worries and anxiety. These kinds of attacks have happened before. There have been reports of such occurrences since 2017, and the gory practice persists in spite of warnings. A bald man was decapitated in 2022, and it has been reported that his murderers planned to sell his head to a customer in Malawi.
The public, especially those who might be in danger, is being urged by authorities to exercise caution. A police representative stated, “This is a serious issue, and we are working to bring those responsible to justice.”
In other societies, where witchdoctors persuade people that particular body parts might bring wealth or power, superstitions that promote such atrocities are firmly ingrained.
